Temple Police Officers Stand Up Against Child Abuse

(April 15, 2022) - April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and officers with the Temple Police Department were proud to Stand Up Against Child Abuse during an event Friday.
The event on April 15, was held at McLane Children’s Medical Center Baylor Scott and White. They raise awareness each year with their annual Stand Up Against Child Abuse event.
Officers with TPD visited with children and Officer Blue was happy to be invited again this year.

All BS&W staff as well as community members wore the color blue and met at the Healing Garden for a special presentation and photo.
National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect.
