Coming Soon!
The City of Temple’s utility billing customers will experience enhanced payment features and new payment options when paying a utility bill. The City has partnered with Invoice Cloud, a leader in the electronic bill payment and presentment (EBPP) industry, to provide an up-to-date online user experience and offer payment channels that significantly increase self-service. Customers will have the added ability to receive bills and pay via text messaging, enroll in paperless billing and review account information through a simple and consistent interface.
Invoice Cloud provides a secure, private and third-party certified Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1-compliant solution to electronically present bills from our billing system and accept payments using all major credit cards, e-checks, and digital wallet methods like Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Venmo. Customers will also be able to schedule future payments, recurring scheduled payments and modify autopay enrollment with ease.
Customers that are currently enrolled in autopay, using a credit card, will be required to re-enroll once the new system is live. For security purposes, credit card data is encrypted and cannot be transferred to the new vendor.
Notice will be sent via email, billing message and mail when the go-live date is set, and customers will be notified when they need to updated credit card information in the new online system.
Our target go-live date is December 2023. Stay tuned for updates!
