Two officers join Temple Police Department ranks following swearing in ceremony
(April 4, 2022) - Two police officers have officially joined the Temple Police Department ranks.
The department had a swearing-in ceremony Monday morning for Officers Wesley Hamm and Alex Tolmachoff. During the event, Deputy Chief Allen Teston explained what wearing the Temple Police Department badge represents: honor, dedication and integrity.
Officer Tolmachoff is a retired California Highway Patrol officer who spent over 20 years on the road before transferring to Temple. He was joined by his wife, who assisted in pinning the badge to his uniform. Officer Hamm is a returning TPD officer who was previously a Corporal with Temple Police, he was joined by his friend and fellow TPD Officer, Brandon Caufield, to assist in pinning his badge.
The Temple Police Department is thrilled to have these two men serve with the department. The two officers will be headed to Field Training shortly.
