Feel Good Friday: Temple police officers get into snowball fight 

In this week’s good news, we have two feel-good stories that may brighten up your weekend. 

Snow in Texas 

Many Texans across the state experienced a winter wonderland on Sunday. The City of Temple received four inches of snow. This led to many residents, including Temple police officers, enjoying the snow by making snow angels while also encouraging drivers to take it slow on the road. At one point during the day officers had to call for backup after starting a snowball fight against a group of children outside near E Ave I and S 26th Street. Officers put up a fight but ultimately lost. 

Animal Shelter Donation
  
The Temple Animal Shelter received a special donation from Loop 363 Animal Hospital in Temple. On Tuesday, staff members dropped off Angel tree donations they collected during Christmas for animals at the shelter. The Temple Animal Shelter is very appreciative of the donations and would like to say thank you to the hospital for taking the time to collect items for the animals in their care.
