City of Temple to host Central Texas AirFest

TEMPLE, TX (April 1, 2024)  The City of Temple is excited to announce the Central Texas AirFest happening May 17 - May 19 at the Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport.

The AirFest will be an action-packed event for all ages, featuring breathtaking aerial displays as well as static displays of vintage and modern aircraft. The festivities will kick off on Friday at 6 p.m. with a live concert and drone show and continue with the aerial show on Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We are thrilled to host the Central Texas AirFest and are excited for the additions we have this year, like the concert and drone show,” said Airport Director Sean Parker. “This event will showcase the incredible skills of some of the top pilots and highlight the rich history of aviation in our region.”

The aerial show will feature exciting performances, including aerobatics, formation flying, and military aircraft demonstrations. Attendees can also explore static displays of vintage and modern aircraft and enjoy food trucks, vendor booths, and a kid zone.

Tickets for the event are now on sale online . Advanced online admission is $15 for General, $10 for children ages 6-17, and children 5 and under are free. Tickets purchased online must be exchanged for a wristband at the pre-sale ticket booth on the day of the event.
