City of Temple utility business customers to experience improved payment platform

TEMPLE, TX (February 12, 2024) - Beginning Monday, February 12, the City of Temple’s utility billing customers will experience enhanced payment features and new payment options when paying a utility bill. The City has partnered with InvoiceCloud, a leader in the electronic bill payment and presentment (EBPP) industry, to provide a secure up-to-date online user experience and offer payment channels that significantly increase self-service. Customers will have the added ability to receive bills and pay via text messaging, enroll in paperless billing and review account information through a simple and consistent interface.

With the use of this new platform and improved system, customers will have the option to receive their bill via paper by mail or electronically by email. This billing selection may be changed at any time by logging into your online account. Customers that are currently enrolled in autopay, using a credit card, will be required to re-enroll once the new system is live on February 12. For security purposes, credit card data is encrypted and cannot be transferred to the new vendor. Bank draft (ACH) customers do not have to re-enroll.

InvoiceCloud provides a secure solution to electronically present bills and accept payments using all major credit cards, e-checks, and digital wallet methods. Customers will also be able to schedule future payments, recurring scheduled payments and modify autopay enrollment with ease.
