City of Temple to Host Household Hazardous Waste Collection on October 28

TEMPLE, TX (October 20, 2023) – The City of Temple is hosting a Household Waste Collection Event on Saturday, October 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Solid Waste Complex, located at 2611 E Ave H, Temple, TX 76501. 

During the event, residents will have the chance to dispose of their household hazardous waste and any food waste they may have, contributing to maintaining Temple's cleanliness.  

Up to 17” $3 Per Tire   
Tires 18-22" $5 Per Tire   
Tires 23"+ $10 Per Tire 
Up to 8 passenger side tires FREE 
*Prices double if rims are attached*  

Residents will be able to responsibly dispose of a wide array of items such as chemicals, tires, paints, electronics, prescription drugs, and more. The event is a drive-thru experience. For safety purposes, it is important that attendees stay within your vehicle. 

The City of Temple is enthusiastic about assisting its residents in waste disposal. We eagerly welcome all residents to dispose of waste properly, contributing to a cleaner environment for the current and future inhabitants of Temple.
