Performance & Analytics Division

The Performance and Analytics division is responsible for compiling the data and information necessary to benchmark organizational performance, identify areas for performance improvement, and provide transparent reporting to the public. 

What we do:
    • Develop the City's performance measurement and dashboarding system
    • Monitor the progress of the City's Strategic Plan and provide transparent reporting to the public
    • Implement continuous improvement methodologies across City departments
    • Provide high-level research and data analysis to inform the decision-making process

In FY 2021, the City of Temple was awarded a Certificate of Achievement in Performance Management by the ICMA - International City/County Management Association. This award is a testament to the efforts of City leaders and staff across all departments to incorporate principles of performance management and effective communication into public reporting, training, and planning.
