The City of Temple and Temple Independent School District certified the following candidates as unopposed cancelling the City of Temple and Temple Independent School District May 4, 2024 General Election.

Dan Posey, TISD Board of Trustees, District 3
Ronnie Gaines, TISD Board of Trustees, District 4
Dawn Cook, TISD Board of Trustees, District 5

Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted each weekday @ TISD Administration Building – 401 Santa Fe Way, Temple, Texas 76501 beginning Monday, April 22, 2024 through Friday, April 26, 2024 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; and Monday, April 29, 2024 and Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Election Day voting by personal appearance will be conducted Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm @ TISD Administration Building – 401 Santa Fe Way, Temple, Texas 76501

To be eligible to vote early by mail in Texas, you must:

• be 65 years or older;
• be sick or disabled;
• be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or
• be expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day; or
• be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.

Complete Sections 1 through 4.

YOU MUST PROVIDE ONE of the following numbers:
Texas Driver’s License, Texas Personal Identification Number or Election Identification Certificate Number issued by the Department of Public Safety (NOT your voter registration VUID#).  If you do not have a Texas Driver’s License, Texas Personal Identification Number or a Texas Election Identification Certificate Number, give the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. 

Sign and Date Section 5.

If you were unable to sign the application and someone witnessed your signature, that person must complete Section 6.

If someone helped you complete the application or mailed the application for you, that person must complete Section 6.
Affix postage.

If you printed the application you must place it in your own envelope and add postage.

Address and mail the completed ABBM to Jana Lewellen, City Secretary at P O Box 207, Temple, Texas 76503. You may also fax the application to 254-298-5637  You also have the option of submitting a scanned copy of the completed and signed application via email to jlewellen@templetx.gov.

If an ABBM is faxed or emailed, then the original, hard copy of the application MUST be mailed and received by the early voting clerk no later than the 4th business day.

Applications for the May 4, 2024 General Election must be received no later than the close of business on April 23, 2024.
