City of Temple to host 3rd Annual Black History Month Ceremony
The City of Temple will celebrate and honor this year's theme, African Americans and the Arts. The ceremony will feature inspirational speeches from community leaders and artwork from trailblazers showcasing the vibrancy of the Black heritage.
"We value Temple's diversity and recognize the incredible impact Black individuals have had on our community," said City Manager Brynn Myers.
During the event, Mayor Tim Davis will present a proclamation to Temple Branch NAACP President, and District 2 Councilwoman, Dr. Zoe Grant.
Let us come together as a community to reflect, learn, and appreciate the cultural richness that Black History Month represents.
This is a free event open to the public.
