Hawn Arcadia Projects Break Ground November 17

Turner Behringer Development will launch its much-anticipated renovation of the historic Hawn Hotel, Arcadia Theater and Sears Building with a ceremonial groundbreaking on Wednesday, November 17 at 11 a.m.

Over the course of the next 18 months, TBD will create 85K-square of residential, commercial and entertainment space, while retaining the historic exterior of the sites.

Supporting this downtown revitalization, the City is constructing a 457 space parking structure adjacent to the Hotel, a second garage on First St., and a series of downtown landscaping and street improvements.

The first phase of the project includes the Hawn Hotel and Arcadia Theatre and will include approximately 40-50 for-lease residential units as well as retail and restaurant space. The Arcadia Theatre will be redeveloped into a multi-purpose events and performance hall. The second phase of the project includes the Sears Building and will include retail, office, and/or residential units.
