What's The Process?
- Once your request form has been submitted, a Customer Service Representative will contact you to verify the information collected.
- Infrastructure will be reviewed and a quote will be generated and routed for approval.
- Please allow at least 5 business days for a quote to be processed and sent to you. (If service is unavailable in the area requested, you will receive an email with information regarding the denial of the tap.)
- Once the tap and permit fees have been paid (in the Permitting Office), a work order for the request will be processed.
- It takes at least 15 business days (from the date of payment) for taps and meters to be installed.
- New taps and meters are installed in the order they are received.
- The City of Temple typically requires that the requestor coordinate tap installation and provide the meter if the connection is 2" or greater.
