The Marketing & Communications department for the City of Temple is responsible for marketing and advertising all city-related programs, projects, services and events; disseminating information through the media; managing communications in an emergency response; creating and maintaining a clear identity for Temple; and providing photography, graphic design and video production services.
The department has been recognized for innovation and excellence awards from the National Association for Government Communicators Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Awards for 1st place for the Most Improved Publication for the Play by Play Activity Guide and 1st place for Graphic Design Project for the Love Where You Live Program.
Marketing & Communications also recently received an award from the Texas Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus Idea Fair for 2nd place in Tourism Branding & Advertising for Discover Temple. Marketing & Communications was also awarded 1st place in Best Digital Promotion by Texas Downtown Association for their Virtual First Friday during COVID-19.
