The Fire Academy will start on January 22, 2024. The cost is $3,000. A $500 dollar non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot in the Academy. Spots will be filled in order of completed applications and paid deposit. We will only accept deposits for completed and submitted applications. EMT School is not provided at The Temple Fire Academy. You can contact Temple College or another Campus in the area that provides this. The following website has information on deadlines and financial aid.

The following is a checklist on the process
Step 1: Complete the Application on the Smartsheet form at the previous link ASAP.
Step 2: Contact Dawn Ditto at 254-298-5970 and place a $500 nonrefundable deposit for the fire academy
Step 3: Obtain Medical Clearance letter prior to starting Certification School and have it turned in or uploaded in Smartsheet with your application.
Step 6: Start Temple Fire Academy. $500 payments for the fire academy will resume on the start of the Academy and be due monthly thereafter until paid off. You will not be able to take the course final until the balance of the tuition is paid off.
