Section 176.006 of the Local Government Code requires a person who “contracts or seeks to contract for the sale or purchase of property, goods, or services with a local government entity,” to file a completed conflict of interest questionnaire with the City Secretary. The purpose of this form is for the vendor to disclose a person’s affiliations or business relationships that might cause a conflict of interest with a local governmental entity.
