Public Information Request

The City Attorney’s Office serves as the City’s principal office responding to Public Information requests. In doing so, the City complies with the Public Information Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 552.

The City of Temple makes every attempt to make most government information available to the public but some exceptions do exist. If an exception applies to the requested information, the City may withhold the information and seek a ruling from the Texas Attorney General.

When requesting information from the City, please Submit A Request Online or complete a City of Temple Public Records Request Form (PDF) and submit to the City Attorney’s Office for review and processing. Requests may be hand-delivered, mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the City Attorney's Office.

Charges associated with Public Information Requests are in accordance with the fees established by the Texas Administrative Code.
