Unlike most Martial Arts training at the Temple Bujinkan Dojo, Taijutsu is conducted in a friendly and noncompetitive atmosphere. Under the guidance of black belt instructors, students train together and assist one another in learning the techniques. Because Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement, rather than strength or speed to overcome an attacker, the training is safe, stimulating and accessible to any adult regardless of age, physical condition or previous martial art experience.

The City’s Transform Temple Department, Stormwater Program, and The Avenue G Church of Christ will be hosting a clean-up event on Saturday, May 18, from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm in the neighborhood surrounding the church. Volunteers from the church will partner with residents to perform yard maintenance and remove trash and debris.

Join in for a terrific time at Tiny Tumblers! Participants will learn to jump, flip, and execute basic movements of gymnastics. This class is designed to develop movement flexibility, coordination, and creativity using developmentally appropriate activities and exercises for beginner students.

Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement, rather than strength or speed. Students use these methods to learn to successfully deal with various self defense situations. Learn the skills to move your body naturally and efficiently by leaping, tumbling and climbing in a fun atmosphere. Previous martial arts experience is not required.
