    Just keep movin'! Join these extremely popular exercise sessions designed especially for those with mobility issues or who have difficulty standing while exercising. Slow stretches and comfortable balance exercises, while seated or in contact with a chair, will help tone and strengthen muscles to increase mobility and flexibility. gradual use of hand weights and stretch bands is also incorporated. Easily adaptable for those with physical limitations.

  4. Taijutsu for Adults

    Unlike most martial arts, training at the Temple Bujinkan Dojo is conducted in a friendly and noncompetitive atmosphere. Under the guidance of black belt instructors, students train together assisting each other in learning the techniques. Since Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement, rather than strength or speed to overcome an attacker, the training is safe, stimulating, and accessible to any adult regardless of age, physical condition or previous martial art experience. Class format is monthly sessions and meets weekly (Mondays and Wednesdays) Pre-Registration Required!

  1. 73rd Annual City of Temple Christmas Parade

    December 2, 2019, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ The parade route will start at Adams Avenue near 8th Street and travel along Adams to 23rd Street, turn right on 23rd Street and disband at Temple High School.

    For 73 years, the annual Christmas parade has brought delight and holiday cheer to Temple residents. On Monday, December 2nd , at 6:30 p.m., the tradition continues as more than 100 parade entries, which includes colorful floats, marching bands, and decorated rides, make their way through downtown Temple, each covered with hundreds of twinkling lights! Join your community and watch local businesses and dignitaries parade through downtown Temple in celebration of the Christmas season and also to welcome Santa Claus to Temple.

    Join in for a terrific time at Tiny Tumblers! Participants will jump, flip, and learn the basic movements of gymnastics.     Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement, rather than strength or speed. Students use these methods to learn to successfully handle various self defense situations. Learn the skills to move your body naturally and efficiently by leaping, tumbling, and climbing in a fun atmosphere. Previous martial arts experience is not required. Class format is monthly sessions and meet ups are weekly (Mondays and Wednesdays). Pre-Registration Required!
