How do I open an account?

In order to establish new service, please provide:  proof of identification (ex. A U.S. or foreign issued Driver's License, military ID, passport, i.d. card, visa or other identifying documentation); social security number; proof of residency (ex. a lease agreement or proof of ownership for the premises you wish to establish utility service): and a completed Request for New Service and Confidentiality form.  If you are unable to provide any of the listed documents or information, please call the Utility Business Office at 298-5616 or visit the office at 401 North 3rd Street for assistance.  For businesses, a tax ID number is required. Service deposits must also be paid before the service can be turned on. The information needs to be brought to 401 N 3rd Street, emailed to or faxed to 254‐298‐5263. We require 1 business day’s notice to turn services on.Please note, if water service is currently off, someone must be present for us to turn the water on. We scheduled a 2 hour window, either 8:00‐10:00, 10:00‐12:00, 1:00‐3:00 or 3:00‐5:00 depending on the billing cycle.
