[ARCHIVED] Temple Public Library to Resume Walk-in Services

TEMPLE, TX (May 27, 2020) – The Temple Public Library will reopen to walk-in patrons in a limited capacity on Monday, June 1.

A total of 50 patrons, age 15 and up, will be allowed in the library at a time. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. on Saturday. The library will be closed on Sunday. Walk-in services should be limited to one person per household.

Browsing and self-selection of materials will be available to patrons. Self-checkout machines and library staff will be available to check materials out.

Six computers will be available for public use on the second floor for those age 18 and older. Computer usage is limited to one 45-minute reservation per day. Please call 254-298-5702 to make a reservation.

Curbside book delivery services will continue until further notice. Customer service will be available by phone and email.

Meeting rooms, study rooms and other select areas will remain closed.
