New Section of Hogan Road Opens to Drivers on February 10

As the City of Temple continues to make progress on the Hogan Road Expansion Project, construction crews will be opening newly paved areas of Hogan Road to drivers on February 10. Two-way traffic will resume between SH 317 and Tumbleweed Trail, while only eastbound traffic will be allowed between Tumbleweed Trail and S. Pea Ridge Road.

Construction crews will now turn their focus to completing the lanes on the northern side of Hogan Road between Tumbleweed Trail and S. Pea Ridge Road. During this work, westbound drivers attempting to reach Hogan Road will be detoured to S. Pea Ridge Road, Tarver Drive and SH 317 to access Hogan Road eastbound. This detour will remain in place until completion of the project in Summer 2020 (weather permitting).

As construction progresses, access will continue to be maintained for residents. Residents with inquiries about the project should reach out to the City of Temple Engineering Department at 298-5660.
