Training Academy

We are currently accepting applications for the next Temple Fire Academy which will begin this summer.

Please turn in the completed application and payment (cash, check or credit card- Visa, Mastercard, or Discover) to the Central Fire Station located at 210 N. 3rd St. Temple, TX 76501.

The curriculum is designed for individuals to obtain certification through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a Structural Firefighter, as well as certification through the Texas Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic. 

Applicants must complete an application packet to be eligible.
The packet consists of the following: 

  •     Personal Data Sheet
  •     Physical Evaluation Form
  •     Application for a copy of Driver Record
  •     Criminal History
  •     Drug Screening
