In December 2014 the City Council adopted a comprehensive Parks Master Plan.
The plan was guided by a 14-member citizen committee and prepared with the assistance of a professional park planning consultant. The committee members met over an 8 month period to study and analyze the needs of the park system. The Master Plan identified over 40 projects.
