**UPDATE** TEMPLE, TX (October 24, 2018) – Kegley Phase I reconstruction is substantially complete and the road has been opened to through traffic. Staff is currently working to complete right-of-way acquisition and dry utility relocation for Phase II. Construction is currently scheduled to begin early summer 2019.
**UPDATE** TEMPLE,TX (October 4, 2018) - On Monday, October 8, the City of Temple will close Kegley Road at the location of the Phase I Road Reconstruction. This section of Kegley will be closed approximately two weeks to allow the contractor to safely reconstruct Kegley Road at the FM 2305 intersection. “At that time, Phase I reconstruction will be substantially complete,” states City Project Manager, Sharon Carlos. “We appreciate the community for their patience while we work to complete this essential project.”
Reconstruction on the remaining phases of Kegley Road south to Charter Oak Dr. are in the final stages of design and right of way acquisition. The sequence of construction activities are being refined and will be underway toward the middle of 2019. Additional information and updates will be provided as details are available.
