    This exciting new exhibit will begin with an Opening Night Gala on Friday, September 19, at 6:00pm. The Gala will include a night of fun, food and entertainment. Guests will be treated to a variety of food and beers from along Route 66! Retro music will be performed by a live band. The event will also feature a live and silent auction, door prizes and a private preview of the Route 66 exhibit! Local car clubs will have a variety of classic cars on display as they “cruise” along Avenue B in front of the Depot. Step back in time, have fun and support the museum!

  6. Circle of Friends Crochet Group

    Nothing warms a soul more than a blanket made with loving hands. Warmth and happiness abound, not only from the brightly colored crocheted blankets, but from the hearts of this unique group. This circle of friends meets once a week to create beautiful, hand-made, crocheted items which are then donated to local nursing homes and hospice centers. Donations of new skeins of yarn are always needed and appreciated.

  14. Basic Dog Obedience Class

    Older dogs can learn new tricks. This basic dog obedience class is designed for both owners and dogs. Participate in verbal commands and had signals such as sit, stay and heel, as you learn to communicate with your dog. This course is open to dogs and puppies 6 months or older. Dogs must be current on all vaccinations and be on a leash. Please bring shot records to first class. Led by Carol Burgin.

    It’s time to get messy with paper mache! This a great opportunity for parents and children to spend some creative quality time together, resulting in an amazing paper mache masterpiece.
