Title VI Policy Statement


The City of Temple is committed to assuring nondiscrimination in its programs and activities. No person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or income status be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination or retaliation under any federally or non-federally funded program or activity administered by the City of Temple or its contractors.

Title VI External Discrimination Complaint Processing Procedures

Citizens should report incidents of discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or income status. All complaints must be in writing and directed to Transform Temple by email, or by mail to:

Complaints will be forwarded to the appropriate State or Federal Agency for investigation within 10 calendar days of receipt.

A complaint log will be maintained the Transform Temple office.

Training


Transform Temple will provide training as needed to City of Temple employees regarding the City of Temple’s Title VI Compliance Program and External Discrimination Complaint Processing Procedures.
